Country Lane Riding School
Country Lane Farm’s Riding School program is offered 7 days a week.
Lessons are based around building confidence and an appropriate, solid foundation. We teach children (ages 4+) and adults of all skill levels, from beginner to advanced.
The Riding School is a program for a variety of riders from no experience to riders with advanced skills. It is also a good place for riders to transition from pleasure riding to competing with our in house show series throughout the year.
Our riding school instructors each have over 20 years teaching experience. We ensure each rider has correct basics and fundamentals to build on that will allow riders to progress the correct way. Many of our students have gone from their first ride to competing and winning at in international level.
Our programs are designed to put each horse and rider on their individual path to success.
LESSONS
Country Lane Farm offers several different types of lessons including private, group, horsemanship and tiny tot(Ages 4 to 5) lessons. We offer individual lessons and monthly packages.
Booking a lesson for the first time?
Riders are required to book an Introductory lesson for their first lesson at Country Lane Riding School. This lesson is an opportunity to introduce you to our program and allow us to assess your current skill level. Afterward, we will discuss your goals in order to develop a program to best suit your needs and match you with an appropriate group or find you a private lesson time. We will assess rider level and readiness to ensure safety and fit with the program level.
What will you need on your first day? You should wear long pants and a boot with a low heel. We have riding helmets available but you are welcome to bring your own if it is an ATSM/SEI approved helmet. To book an introductory lesson click here.

Individual Lesson Rates:
1 hour Introductory Lesson $125 Book Here Riders are required to book an Introductory Lessons for their first lesson at Country Lane Riding School. This lesson is an opportunity to introduce you to our program and allow us to assess your current skill level. Afterward, we will discuss your goals in order to develop a program to best suit your needs and match you with an appropriate group or find you a private lesson time. We will assess rider level and readiness to ensure safety and fit with the program level.
30 Minute Group Lesson $89 - Once riders have completed an introductory lessons they may book a group lesson. Riders are grouped both by age and skill level. Groups have a maximum of four (4) riders. Lessons are 30 minutes on the horse. Please arrive early to allow for tack up. Riders must be at level 2 to be eligible for group lessons. See CLF Rider Level Program for details click here.
30 Minute Private Lesson $125 - Once riders have completed an introductory lessons they may book a private lesson. Private lessons are an excellent way for riders to progress faster along the learning continuum. Beginner riders will be required to book private lessons until they are at CLF rider level 2 in order to join group lessons. See CLF Rider Level Program for details click here.
Tiny Tot Lesson $69 - 20-minute starter lesson for children ages 3 to 5. Kids will play games, have fun and get comfortable on and off our horses and ponies. Parents and child work together with the help of an instructor. Your child will develop the balance, strength, and coordination it takes to make their pony walk, trot, turn, and stop.
Horsemanship Lesson $50 - Our horsemanship lessons run once a month and are lessons range from stable management, to basic veterinary care, to ground work and lunging. This is a must for all new and long time riders. Horsemanship lessons are available to anyone including parents.

Monthly lesson rates:
Monthly lessons are based on 52 weeks per year. To be eligible for the discounted monthly rate riders must maintain the same day/lesson time each week. There are no refunds for missed lessons. Missed lessons are eligible for rescheduling up to 30 days from the missed lesson and require 24hour notice. Monthly packages are renewed automatically every month.
